Privacy Policy
A plain-language explanation of the information TURTLE collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Last updated August 2, 2026
Scope
This policy explains how TURTLE Watch Co. (“TURTLE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you visit this website, join a waitlist, contact us, place an order, or request customer service. It applies to information collected online and through related customer communications.
Information we collect
Information you provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order number, messages, product preferences, return or warranty information, and other details you choose to provide.
Order and payment information. When commerce is enabled, payment providers will process payment-card and transaction information. TURTLE generally receives transaction status and limited payment details rather than storing full payment-card numbers.
Device and usage information. Hosting providers and standard web technologies may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, and security or diagnostic logs.
Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies or local storage may be used for essential site operation, preferences, security, analytics, and—only if later enabled—advertising measurement. The current pre-launch site does not intentionally use behavioral-advertising cookies. We will update this policy and provide any required controls if that changes.
How we use information

- Process and deliver orders, payments, returns, warranty claims, and repairs.
- Authenticate transactions, prevent fraud, and protect customers and the website.
- Maintain records, comply with law, and enforce agreements.
- Understand site performance and improve products, content, and service.

How information is disclosed
The current pre-launch website uses Formspree to receive and process waitlist and contact submissions while the website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We may disclose information to service providers that help operate hosting, forms, email, analytics, fraud prevention, payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, customer support, and professional services. These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary for their work and are expected to protect it.
We may also disclose information to comply with law or a valid legal request, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
TURTLE does not sell personal information. TURTLE does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this notice and provide any legally required opt-out method.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including order fulfillment, warranty support, tax and accounting records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to a small online business. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link in an email. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you, subject to identity verification and lawful exceptions. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply, including rights concerning disclosure, portability, objection, restriction, sale or sharing, and non-discrimination.
Submit a privacy request through the contact form and select “Privacy request.” Do not include full payment-card information or other highly sensitive data. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and protect your account. Even where a particular privacy law does not apply to TURTLE, we will consider reasonable requests in good faith.
When legally applicable, we will recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control for covered sale or sharing activity.
Children
The website and products are not directed to children under 13, and TURTLE does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
International visitors
TURTLE is based in California, United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where service providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from the laws where you live.
Policy changes
We may revise this policy as the website, vendors, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner when required.
